Anything practical — tools, kitchen equipment, kids' things that get outgrown in a season. Furniture sells if it is solid and priced to leave. Around Downtown and Battery you will also see more collectables and vinyl than the city average.
On the street, and further away than feels necessary. Blocking a driveway is the fastest way to sour a sale, and in the busier parts of Downtown and Battery the first hour fills the kerb. Walking two houses down costs nothing.
