Garage sales in Atlanta, Georgia

Roughly February to November, and peak weekends are spring through early summer and again in early fall. Outside that window listings thin out rather than stop — set a date filter and the map will only show what is actually on around Midtown.

Not for a normal residential sale. Atlanta does not require a garage sale permit. Up to two sales are permitted per year per household. Signs are restricted to private property. It is still worth a look at your city's rules on where signs may go, and at any HOA or strata bylaw that applies to your street.

Start with Midtown and Buckhead. Inman Park and Virginia-Highland usually follow later in the morning, so you can run them as a second loop.
